Thank you for your interest in our BIP. To join, we need collaboration with your university and your Erasmus+ coordinator. Therefore, please ask your Erasmus+ program coordinator to contact with Krzysztof Górski – our Erasmus+ coordinator at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Preliminary applications from students interested in 2md and 3rd rdition of the BIP EAA are being accepted until December 31, 2024. It is anticipated that approximately 15-20 students from at least two foreign academic institutions (excluding students from URad., Poland) will be able to participate in each edition of the program. The EAA with physical mobility in the April 2025 (2nd edition) has the code 2024-1-PL01-KA131-HED-000205734-1. The EAA with physical mobility in the September 2025 (3rd edition) has the code 2024-1-PL01-KA131-HED-000205734-2. A student wishing to participate in the BIP EAA must obtain permission from their university to travel to URad. Due to the substantive scope of the program, we prefer students interested in automotive technology. In the recruitment process conducted by the sending university, mandatory and ranking criteria are applied.

Mandatory Criteria:
  1. Year of Study: Students must be at least in their second year of studies.
  2. English Proficiency: Students must have knowledge of English. The sending university is responsible for verifying this individually, for example, based on the student’s English language grade or the language certificates they hold. The minimum requirement is English proficiency at the B1 level..
Ranking Criterion:
  • The ranking will be based on the students’ grade point average from the previous academic year.

We will inform students and Erasmus+ program coordinators about the final acceptation for the 2nd and 3rd edition of the BIP by January 31, 2025.

Next, each student begins preparing their Learning Agreement (LA). This document is filled out online using the service available at https://www.learning-agreement.eu/. Watch the video to learn how to create your account on this platform, which will allow you to prepare your LA and then submit it for approval by both the sending and receiving institutions. Select the type of LA that corresponds to „Blended Mobility with short-term physical mobility.” Then, you will proceed to fill in the following sections: Student Information, Sending Institution Information, Receiving Institution Information, Mobility Programme, and Commitment.

In the „Student Information” tab, provide your personal details and the academic year during which the mobility will take place. In the „Field of Education” select „Motor vehicles (0716) (811)”.

In the „Sending Institution Information” tab, select your country and the name of your university. Provide the details of the „Sending Responsible Person” and the „Sending Administrative Contact Person.” Pay attention to correctly entering their email addresses, as they will receive information requesting the approval of your LA. Usually, the names of universities are provided in the native language, for example: DIETHNES PANEPISTIMIO ELLADOS, LATVIJAS BIOZINATNU UN TEHNOLOGIJU UNIVERSITATE, LIETUVOS INZINERIJOS KOLEGIJA.

In the „Receiving Institution Information” tab, select Poland and „CASIMIR PULASKI RADOM UNIVERSITY”. Receiving Responsible Person data are as follows: Krzysztof Górski, position: Erasmus+ coordinator, email: krzysztof.gorski@urad.edu.pl Receiving Administrative Contact Person data are as follows: Agnieszka Dąbrowska, position: Head of International office, email: a.dabrowska@urad.edu.pl

In the ’Mobility Programme’ section, please fill in the mobility period, e.g., „April 7 – 11, 2025” or „September 22 – 26, 2025”, depending on your acceptance details. Component title or description at the Receiving Institution: Erasmus+ Automotive Academy. Component Code: /.

In the field „Short description of the virtual component,” please enter the following content: „Erasmus+ Automotive Academy is an educational program aimed at students interested in solidifying and deepening their knowledge, competencies, and practical skills in the field of automotive engineering. The program includes both virtual and physical mobility components. In general, the virtual part of EAA offers the lectures on selected topics such as artificial intelligence, automotive engines, batteries, engine fuels and automotive fluids, vehicle diagnostics, accident/collision data recording systems, road safety, and motorsports. However, it should be emphasized that the scope of the virtual part of a specific edition of EAA is agreed by the program partners and it is presented on the project website (https://eaa.uniwersytetradom.pl/) in the „Schedule” tab. In particular, the virtual part of the 3rd BIP EAA entitled „New energy sources and technologies in the automotive industry” covers a wide range of topics related to modern automotive technologies. The program begins with an introduction and presentation of the BIP project. Participants will then have the opportunity to delve into the topic of batteries and its diagnostics in the context of electric vehicles, which is crucial for the future of transportation. Subsequent sessions will focus on advanced data analysis, specifically Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) systems, which allow for the recovery of data after accidents. The program also includes lectures on alternative energy sources such as biofuels and hydrogen, emphasizing a focus on sustainable development and eco-friendly solutions. It is worth noting that the lectures are recorded and made available to students who, due to unforeseen circumstances, were unable to participate. The entire lecture series will be summarized and participants will receive detailed information about the physical mobility component in Radom.”.

The physical part of EAA, depending on the edition, includes laboratory classes related to the content of the agreed lectures. Specifically, planned activities include tests of the electric powered vehicles, road safety exercises using rollover and frontal crash simulators. Students will perform vehicle diagnostics using appropriate research equipment. They will measure selected engine parameters using a MAHA chassis dynamometer. They will conduct measurements of the combustion process parameters of selected fuels in an AVL test engine. Participation in study visits to companies in the automotive industry is also envisaged. Students will be offered a cultural program that supports European integration and promotes its values.

Number of ECTS credits should be 3. The main language of instruction at the Receiving Institution: English. The level of language competence: B1 or higher.

After moving to the „Commitment” tab, click „Sign and send…” This will forward your LA for signature by the appropriate individuals at the sending and receiving institutions.

An access to the lecture will be provided online via the Microsoft Teams platform available for iOS and Android mobile device. Access to the meeting on the MS Teams platform will be available via a link, which will be sent to each BIP participant at their email address.

Please make sure that MS Teams application is installed on your device. In case of iOS you can use the Microsoft Teams browser version as well as the MS Teams application. Both solutions are the same valuable. General information how to join the MS Teams meeting are available here

Insurances: Students participating in the Erasmus+ scholarship program are required to have insurance covering medical treatment costs, accidents, and liability. Basic coverage is provided by the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), which grants access to healthcare in the host country (EU/EFTA) on the same terms as the citizens of that country. The EHIC allows access to healthcare only in those facilities that operate within the public healthcare system of the respective country.

Co-financing: The source of funding for mobility is the financial resources (primarily from the Erasmus+ program) of the sending university. Students and recent graduates participating in short-term physical mobility to any country receive a base amount of €79 per day up to the 14th day of the activityStudents and recent graduates with fewer opportunities who engage in short-term physical mobility receive an additional top-up to the basic individual support amount: €100 per mobility activity for days 5 to 14.

The scholarship is transferred by the sending university to the student’s account before the mobility, after signing the financial agreement and submitting all required documents (i.e., the Learning Agreement for the Blended Intensive Programme – Before the Mobility, the Declaration, and the Bank Data Form). For further details, please contact the Erasmus+ program coordinator at your university.
