Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
Casimir Pulaski Radom University
Welcome to the Erasmus+ Automotive Academy (EAA), a non-profit educational initiative established in 2021 by Prof. Krzysztof Górski from the Casimir Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom (currently Casimir Pulaski Radom University).
The Erasmus+ Automotive Academy was initiated in response to the limitations on student and staff mobility caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, the project focused on sustaining and strengthening international academic cooperation with European partner institutions through digital and online learning solutions.
As of 2025, the Erasmus+ Automotive Academy is being implemented in the form of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), in line with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme. This format combines virtual learning activities with short-term physical mobility, enabling participants to engage in both online lectures and on-site academic activities hosted in Radom.
At the beginning, the implementation of the Erasmus+ Automotive Academy was supported by the following partner institutions:
- International Hellenic University (Thessaloniki, Greece)
- Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (Jelgava, Latvia)
- Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Vilnius, Lithuania)
- Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Budapest, Hungary)
- University of Craiova (Craiova, Romania)
- Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine)
- University of Salerno (Salerno, Italy)
- University of Oviedo (Gijón, Spain)
- Casimir Pulaski Radom University (Radom, Poland)
In 2025, new institutions joined the project partnership:
- BETiS (Radom, Poland) – a company specializing in professional trainings for the Automotive industry experts.
- Higher Education Institution (Kaunas, Lithuania)
- MAN Truck & Bus (Starachowice, Poland)
- Autodrom Jastrząb (Jastrząb, Poland)
In 2026, additional institutions joined the group of our partners, namely:
- Ondokuz Mayıs University, Samsun, Turkey)
- ITS Lombardia Meccatronica Academy, Milano, Italy)
- Kazakh National Research Technical University, Almaty, Kazakhstan)
All academic partners involved in this initiative educate students for the automotive sector, which plays a significant role in national economies and requires highly qualified specialists. By working together within an international consortium of European universities, we aim to share best educational practices and to educate skilled engineers capable of meeting the needs of all areas of the automotive industry. We invite interested institutions to cooperate with us.
Students participating in the programme will have the opportunity to consolidate and further develop their knowledge and competences in automotive engineering. This will be achieved through cooperation within an international group of students, academic staff and automotive industry experts during online lectures, as well as through practical laboratory classes and other academic activities organised by Casimir Pulaski Radom University.
The academic programme will be complemented by a range of additional activities aimed at supporting the integration and intercultural exchange of BIP participants. Successful completion of the programme will be confirmed by a certificate and the award of 3 ECTS credits.
Note: The Blended Mobility Implementation Guide for Erasmus+ Higher Education Mobility (KA131) can be downloaded here. The final Beneficiary Report templates are available here. The poster of the BIP can be downloaded here. Pay attention to the slogan visible on this vehicle shown below, which I spotted (K. Górski) in Kaunas. It proudly displays the words… „Proud to be an engineer!” An engineer is a creator, so follow this path of creators, engineers, and automotive enthusiasts.
